amikor a macskanak a szeme sem all jol

Talán nekem is jót tenne ugyanaz.

  4. I think B made it clear, but this was diluted with water, unfiltered organic apple cider vinegar. She does not like the smell, bless her little black button nose.
B's parents' vet said ecet will make her fur fall out, but obviously this is not true. Apple cider vinegar is a kind of traditional cure-all home remedy used for everything from weight-loss, high blood pressure and diabetes, to dandruff, lice and eczema.
Not all vinegars are the same. The ecet we find in the CBA is basically an acidic chemical (called distilled white vinegar in english)and would not have the same healing effect. It is however very good for non-toxic household cleaning if you don't want to use nasty poisonous things like Domestos or Lysol, or whatever typical chemical arsenal you might find in an average home. Ecet kills all the bacteria and viruses that chlorine bleach kills without hurting your lungs and eyes and skin or damaging your liver.
Oh, also we are not putting the vinegar in her eyes, though some people seem to do so. I think that would really sting and she might claw B's eyes out by the end. We are washing her eyes 2-3 times a day with warm slightly salty water or chamomile tea, then we spray colloidal silver into her eye. We are also giving her probiotics in her food, olive leaf powder, and chinese cordycepts tablets which she eats like treats.
I have researched all these things very carefully and asked a lot of advise, so this treatment is not an experiment, but it does requires a lot of consistency attention. She has already been on a load of drugs from the animal doctors, but these, though very costly, did not cure her so far.
(Humphrey Boglarka is approximately 2 kilos and very fluffy)

  5. Thanks C. I know which ecet you are talking about, I also use that for cleaning only. I don't think I would find unfiltered organic apple cider vinegar though. Do you think simple apple cider vinegar (almaecet) could work?
Oh, and don't worry, I will not try this hastily, I am just collecting info we might be able to use.
I hope these treatments will work for Boglárka. Keep us updated on her progress please!

  6. What I read says to only use real unfiltered, unpasteurized apple cider vinegar for any health and healing treatments on both people and animals. I guess the almaecet we can find in Hungarian shops, no one can tell if it is really ecet made only from apple juice or just apple flavoured distilled ecet. It's maybe like the difference between real palinka and flavoured palinka. I am sure you can find real unfiltered almaecet in bio shops. I wanted to learn to make it myself when I was there so that I could use it for making pickles from the garden this year, but then we moved.

  7. Thanks. Do you see any positive changes on Bogi yet?

  8. nothing miraculous. she has more good days than bad days, but who knows what is working at this point? Today her eye is completely open and clear, but there is still redness around and some stains remain from the discharge. And overall she has good energy, she is playful and affectionate, eats and drinks and poops normally, so we have good reason to hope for her full recovery.

  9. Chamomile tea is very good. When I had red eyes, my mom always made some to wash my eyes... it takes some days, but it helps.

and for shiny fur: fresh uncooked egg mixed in the food - if the cat is not vegan, of course :)
